When You're Eligible for a Refund

You may qualify for a full or partial refund if your order meets one or more of the following conditions.

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • Approved Return: Your returned product has been received, inspected, and approved in accordance with our Return Policy.
  • Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Product: The product is confirmed to be damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered, and a replacement is either unavailable or not preferred.
  • Order Cancelled by MEG.qa: Your order is cancelled by MEG.qa due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, payment verification issues, or other operational reasons.
  • Customer Cancellation: You cancel your order before dispatch, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
  • Damaged Delivery: The package is refused or cannot be delivered because it arrives visibly damaged or shows signs of tampering.

Refund Method

MEG.qa processes refunds using secure and transparent methods. Wherever possible, refunds are issued through the same payment method used for the original purchase.

  • Currency: All refunds are issued in Qatari Riyals (QAR).
  • Original Payment Method: Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method, including debit/credit cards, SADAD, Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ), or PayLater.
  • Cash on Delivery Orders: For Cash on Delivery purchases, refunds may be processed by bank transfer. You may be asked to provide your bank account details.
  • Applicable Deductions: Standard delivery charges and payment gateway or card transaction fees may be deducted where applicable, except when the refund is due to an error by MEG.qa, such as an incorrect, damaged, or defective product.

Refund Timeline

Once your returned product has been received and successfully verified, we will begin processing your refund as quickly as possible.

  • Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days after your return has been approved.
  • Bank Processing: Refunds made to debit/credit cards, SADAD, CBQ, or PayLater accounts may take additional time to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Refund Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation by email and/or SMS or WhatsApp once your refund has been successfully processed.

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, you may receive a partial refund instead of a full refund. The refund amount will depend on the circumstances of your return and the conditions outlined in this policy.

A partial refund may apply if:

  • Lower-Priced Replacement: A replacement product is provided at a lower price than the original item purchased. The price difference will be refunded to you.
  • Partial Order Return: Only some items from a multi-item order are returned while the remaining items are kept.
  • Applicable Deductions: Delivery charges, payment gateway fees, or other applicable transaction costs are deducted in accordance with this Refund Policy.

Refunds Not Granted

Refund requests may be declined if they do not comply with the requirements of our Return Policy or if the circumstances do not qualify for a refund.

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following situations:

  • Return Conditions Not Met: The returned product does not satisfy the requirements outlined in our Return Policy, including returns submitted outside the allowed period, missing accessories, or evidence of misuse.
  • False or Misleading Claims: The reported issue regarding the product or delivery is found to be false, exaggerated, fraudulent, or made in bad faith after investigation.
  • Non-Returnable Products: The product belongs to our list of non-returnable items and was not received damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered.

Order Cancellations & Refunds

If an order is cancelled before delivery, the refund process will depend on the reason for cancellation and the status of the order at the time the request is received.

  • Cancellation by MEG.qa: If your order is cancelled due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, payment verification issues, or any other reason on our side, any amount already paid will be refunded in full.
  • No Additional Liability: In such cases, MEG.qa's responsibility is limited to refunding the amount paid for the cancelled order.
  • Customer Cancellations: Customer cancellation requests are subject to the conditions outlined in our Terms & Conditions and may not be accepted once an order has been dispatched.
