This Refund Policy explains how and when MEG.qa issues refunds for orders placed on https://meg.qa. It works alongside our Return Policy and Terms & Conditions — please review all three before requesting a refund.
When You’re Eligible for a Refund
You may be eligible for a full or partial refund if:
- Your returned product passes inspection under our Return Policy.
- The product was found to be defective, damaged, or different from what was ordered, and a replacement is not available or not desired.
- Your order was cancelled by MEG.qa due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or other issues on our end.
- You cancelled your order before dispatch, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
- A package was refused or undeliverable due to visible damage or tampering upon arrival — in this case, a refund is assured.
Refund Method
- Refunds are issued in Qatari Riyals (QAR) only.
- Wherever possible, refunds are made to the original payment method used for the purchase (e.g., the same card, SADAD, CBQ, or Paylatter account).
- For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds may be issued via bank transfer; you may be asked to provide your bank details.
- Standard delivery charges and any payment gateway/card transaction fees may be deducted from your refund amount where applicable, except in cases where the return is due to MEG.qa’s error (e.g., wrong, damaged, or defective item).
Refund Timeline
- Once your return is received and verified, refunds are typically processed within [7–14] business days.
- Refunds to cards or payment partners (SADAD, CBQ, Paylatter) may take additional time to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or provider’s own processing times.
- You will receive a confirmation via email and/or SMS/WhatsApp once your refund has been processed.
Partial Refunds
A partial refund may apply when:
- A replacement item is priced lower than the originally purchased item.
- Only part of a multi-item order is being returned.
- Delivery or transaction fees are deducted, where applicable, as outlined above.
Refunds Not Granted
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- The return does not meet the conditions outlined in our Return Policy (e.g., outside the return window, missing accessories, or signs of misuse).
- The complaint regarding delivery or product quality is later found to be false, exaggerated, or made in bad faith.
- The product is on our non-returnable list and was not received damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Order Cancellations & Refunds
If MEG.qa or the relevant seller cancels your order (for example, due to non-availability of stock, a pricing error, or failed verification), any amount already paid will be refunded in full, with no liability to MEG.qa beyond the refund itself.
